Wazifa for Childless Couples – Seeking Blessings Through Dua

Having children is one of the greatest blessings of life, and for many married couples, becoming parents is a heartfelt dream. However, for some, the path to parenthood is filled with emotional challenges, unanswered questions, and deep longing. In Islam, while medical help is encouraged, we also believe in the immense power of dua (supplication) and wazifa (specific Quranic recitations and prayers) to seek Allah’s mercy and blessings.

This blog is dedicated to all childless couples yearning for a child. If you or someone you know is waiting for the blessing of a child, this spiritually uplifting guide is your source of hope, powerful wazaif, azkar, and online resources to bring ease to your heart and light to your soul.

The Power of Dua for Childless Couples

In the Holy Qur’an, we find stories of prophets and righteous individuals who faced the pain of childlessness yet turned to dua and were eventually blessed with righteous offspring.

“My Lord! Grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.”
(Surah Aal-e-Imran, 3:38)

This was the dua of Prophet Zakariya (A.S.), who longed for a child in his old age. Allah responded with the glad tidings of Prophet Yahya (A.S.). Such verses prove that nothing is impossible for Allah.

What is Wazifa?

Wazifa is a practice of reciting selected Quranic verses, Names of Allah (Asma-ul-Husna), and supplications with sincerity and consistency to seek specific blessings. For couples struggling with infertility or delays in conceiving, a wazifa can be a beautiful way to spiritually align oneself with Allah’s decree and mercy.

Powerful Wazifa for Childless Couples

Here is a tried and tested wazifa many Islamic scholars recommend for couples seeking children. It is best performed after Isha prayer or Tahajjud, a time when Allah descends to the lowest heaven and listens to supplications.

Wazifa #1 – Surah Al-Anbiya, Ayah 89

Translation: “And Zakariya, when he called to his Lord, ‘My Lord, do not leave me alone [without offspring], and You are the best of inheritors.'”
(Surah Al-Anbiya: 89)

How to Perform:

  • After Isha prayer, sit in a clean and quiet place.

  • Recite Durood-e-Ibrahimi 11 times.

  • Recite the above ayah 100 times with deep concentration.

  • End with Durood-e-Ibrahimi 11 times again.

  • Make heartfelt dua for children and pray together as a couple.

Wazifa #2 – Ya Musawwiru (يَا مُصَوِّرُ)

One of Allah’s 99 names is Al-Musawwir – The Fashioner, The Shaper. This name is associated with creating and shaping, making it powerful for couples wanting a child.

Arabic: يَا مُصَوِّرُ
Transliteration: Ya Musawwiru
Meaning: “O Fashioner, O Giver of Forms.”

How to Perform:

  • Recite “Ya Musawwiru” 336 times daily after Fajr or Isha.

  • Follow it with the dua:

“Ya Allah! You are the Bestower of form and life, grant us a righteous child, healthy in body and soul.”

Daily Azkar for Hope and Healing

Azkar (remembrances) soothe the heart and bring the soul closer to Allah. Here are some daily azkar to recite for comfort, hope, and divine intervention:

Azkar #1: Hasbunallahu Wa Ni’mal Wakeel

Arabic: حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Transliteration: Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel
Meaning: “Allah (alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs.”

Recite this 100 times daily, especially when feeling anxious or hopeless.

Azkar #2: Rabbi Habli Minas Saliheen

Arabic: رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Transliteration: Rabbi habli minas-saliheen
Meaning: “My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous.”

Recite after every prayer (5 times).

Important Etiquettes While Doing Wazifa

  • Both husband and wife should be involved spiritually.

  • Avoid sinful activities, especially arguing or hurting others.

  • Maintain regular salah (prayer) and read Qur’an daily.
